Common Board Types
Single Face
One layer of fluting on a sheet of linerboard provides a flexible wrapper to cushion and protect. It is useful for protecting against abrasion and blunt impact in transit.

Single Wall
One layer of fluting between two sheets of linerboard provides the simplest containers, usually for light weight contents or as a wrapper to hold batches of product together. If single wall board is used with heavier materials like water bottles, the contents are usually self supporting when stacked so that the board just holds the material together for ease of handling and display.

Double Wall
Three sheets of linerboard separated by two layers of fluting provides a stronger package for heavier materials or where higher impact protection is required. |
